LePage PL acoustic seal vapor barrier and sound reduction adhesive is made with a unique blend of synthetic rubber and polymers to bond polyethylene vapor barrier films to metal; concrete; masonry; asbestos; gypsum; board; plaster and wood. This provides an efficient seal to reduce airborne sound transmission in wall assembly systems. Our versatile adhesive can also be used as bedding compound over vibrating elements; electrical boxes or other items recessed in (or passing through) walls. LePage PL Acoustic-Seal is incredibly durable; too; remaining flexible at extremely low temperatures and resisting water even when immersed. Since this adhesive does not dry; it's normal for it to accumulate dirt; but this won't affect its functionality. For best results; use LePage PL Acoustic-Seal in concealed areas only.
